The representative for Economic Promotion highlighted the importance of a commitment to innovation, both in products and in production and management systems, as an "essential way to strengthen the competitiveness of our companies".
In particular, she stressed the importance of promoting the transformation towards industry 4.0: "It is a path we must follow to add value to industrial products, distinguishing them from those that are the result of mere production, and a way to consolidate the competitive business models pursued by Gipuzkoa. Our region is prepared; it is already taking steps to adapt itself to this new revolution, with a strong industry and with capacity to lead this new industrial model. We are determined to support our companies in this transformation," stressed Aizpuru.
